Abstract
In this approach, an efficient methodology for synthesis of a novel hydrazonoyl bromide (HB) containing trifluoromethyl moiety by using fluorine-containing building blocks was achieved. The synthesized HB was fully characterized with various methods such as Infra-red spectroscopy (IR), Thin layer chromatography (TLC), 1H-NMR, 19F-NMR, 13C-NMR, and elemental analyses. In-situ potential examination as reliable technique, an electrochemical sensor based on prepared HB was used for the selective detection of environmental hazardous heavy metal ion, Cd2+.
