Abstract
This research presents a Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) based Full Adder (FA) design. The proposed QCA FA is designed in coplanar style using QCA inverter and majority gates. The design is implemented using QCADesigner software to verify its functionality. The practical effectiveness of the design is proved by comparing the structural and performance parameters with 11 existing QCA FAs. The design is implemented using 53 quantum cells that correspond to area coverage of 0.05 $\mu \mathrm{m}^{2}$. The latency of the design is 2 due to which quantum cost becomes 0.1. Design and performance parameters obtained by the proposed QCA FA are better than its existing counterparts. Thus, the QCA FA presented in this research can be considered as a suitable…
