Abstract

There has been a talk of solar home and its installation for a long time, but, feasibility and cost analysis are highly important point for a low-income country like Bangladesh. This paper focuses on a solar based home energy solution to reduce the consumption from grid in the residential sector in Chattogram district, Bangladesh. The proposed system will focus on a grid-connected solar system which will contribute to the consumption of a home as well as the grid. Large solar-based plants are not particularly a practical solution due to small and limited landmass.
