Corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy in NaOH and Syzygium Samarangense solution for environmental sustainability

The aluminum alloy has versatile applications in electronic industry, automotive and aerospace structure, wind and solar energy management. The main problem with aluminum alloy is that the fatigue failure is happened due to corrosion under different environments. In fact, corrosion plays an adverse role to accelerating the fatigue failure due to geometric flaws, concentrate stress and crack propagation. The reduction of corrosion can resolve this problem in industry. The research work is concentrated to find out the way to reduce corrosion which is associated with the fatigue failure of aluminum alloy.
