Abstract
Abstract Background: Bibliometric analysis identifies the potential authors, institutions, areas, and collaborations in a particular field. However, we did not find any idea regarding the aforementioned aspects on electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in South Asia. Aims: We aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis on ECT in eight South Asian countries. Materials and Methods: The search was done in the Scopus database (www.scopus.com) in June 2023. We searched from inception to the search date by utilizing the search terms. We used VOSviewer version 1.6.19 for data visualization. Results: The search identified 287 articles from 1961 to 2023. S.
