Abstract

Crime record storing is a significant task for law enforcement agencies. Often, they face challenges in managing and inspecting the records efficiently and securely. Moreover, locally stored data, as hard copy or electronically, can be modified by any entity, which creates a possibility of data alteration. These issues can be resolved by employing a storage architecture that provides an efficient data storage and management system while simultaneously ensuring data integrity. Here, blockchain technology offers a possible alternative to traditional storage architecture by ensuring proper data storage, management, and integrity.
