The mediating role of attitude towards the technology in shaping artificial intelligence usage among professionals

Abstract
This study aims to explore the factors influencing the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) among professionals in Bangladesh, with a particular focus on the mediating role of attitudes toward AI in the adoption process. The research is grounded in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 551 professionals across various sectors in Bangladesh, yielding 330 usable responses. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The quantitative approach facilitated a comprehensive examination of direct and mediated relationships between constructs.
