Abstract
The growing rate of cybercrime has turned into a crucial concern that makes people more afraid of cyberwar than a nuclear weapon and climate change. An alarming awareness level has been observed in this study which is not satisfactory. A significant percentage of the population is unaware of cybersecurity policies and practices. Even the relevant organizations, as well as the government, are not concerned about the issues of cybercrime. A significant variation is essential to enrich the cybersecurity policies and practices. Furthermore, it needs to be monitored and restructured with the pace of time.
