Nuclear power plants in emerging economies and human resource development: A review

Rapid expansion of nuclear technologies and nuclear energy for power generation in emerging (developing) countries necessitate undertaking urgent skills development programs. Skilled human resource is a vital first step in ensuring a sustainable supply of qualified/competent personnel for the safe, responsible and sustainable use of nuclear technologies. This paper highlights the current trend of global nuclear power plant development in new comer countries.
