Abstract

The aim of the study was to assess serum levels of free tri-iodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in patients with acne vulgaris and apparently healthy subjects, to compare all the above-mentioned parameters between the two groups and to correlate severity of acne vulgaris with serum levels of free tri-iodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). A total number of 120 participants of both genders were selected with age ranged from 15 to 45 years based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.
