Effect of environmental factors on the growth and yield performance of Mungbean varieties in the Sylhet region

An experiment was conducted at the experimental field of the Department of Agronomy and Haor Agriculture, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh during October 2015 to October 2016 to find out the effect of environmental factors on growth and yieldperformances of the mungbean varieties in Sylhet region. At the present experiment mungbean variety BARI mung-6 was evaluated at thirteen different sowing dates started from October 2015 (S1) to October 2016 (S13). Due to unfavorable environmental conditions, only plants grown from nine sowing dates could successfully complete vegetative and reproductive phase.
