MOTIVATING FACTORS FOR PRIVATE CAR USERS TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Urban areas all over the world are becoming private car-dominated and less sustainable day by day. In order to limit the growth of private cars and to efficiently attract the commuters from private car to public transit, this paper aimed to identify the factors motivating the commuters to use public transport and to find out the attributes of public transport which need urgent improvement.
