Design and Implementation of a Drain Cleaner Robotic Vehicle
Abstract
This work proposed to construct a mobile device which would remove waste materials such as leaves, bottles, polyethylene, etc. which we usually see disrupting the water flow in roadside drains. The system was developed in the context of solving one of the most common problems of our country which is drain clogging. Our system is a four-wheeled robot attached with a wiper motor for moving on the drains. The device also consists of a chain-sprocket based grabber fitted with a fixed number of claws to pick up the waste material.
