Abstract
This case study is written on the Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM). This is the largest diabetes management hospital in Asia. The newly appointed Executive Director, Mr. Habib, is attempting to launch a new revolutionary mobile health service system driven by modern wireless technology for better service quality, higher efficiency, and patient convenience, which is ultimately targeted toward achieving a higher return on investment. This is a challenging issue as it is a complex concern based on users' technological, behavioural, and cognitive beliefs. Nevertheless, Mr. Habib has decided to take this challenge.
