Abstract

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. Both molecular alterations and clinicopathological characteristics play significant roles in determining prognosis and survival outcomes. However, data from regional tertiary care centers in Bangladesh remain limited. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the molecular and clinicopathological predictors of survival among patients with colorectal cancer treated at a tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted at Shaheed M. Monsur Ali Medical College. Data were extracted between July 2023 and July 2024 from hospital records of 260 patients with histopathologically confirmed colorectal adenocarcinoma.
